Located in western Nova Scotia the primary operations include; a Newsprint Mill in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia which Produces 250,000 tns/yr of newsprint and mechanical printing papers for Canadian and International markets; the Oakhill Sawmill in Oakhill, Nova Scotia with Annual production of 150,000 mmbf of dimension lumber for NA market; Mersey Woodlands ~ 234,000 hectares of private commercial forestlands in western Nova Scotia; Brooklyn Power Company which is a Biomass fired co-generation facility adjacent to the newsprint mill that generates 22 MWs contracted to NSPI and steam for the paper mill.
