Paprican provides valuable technology transfer and cost-competitive research to the pulp and paper industry by addressing the short-term and strategic needs of its member companies. Its research programs are driven by the industry's high-priority technical issues such as product quality and value, cost competitiveness, environment and sustainability. Internationally recognized for excellence, Paprican operates laboratories in Quebec and British Columbia, and is well positioned to offer services to the global pulp and paper industry. Created through the merger of Canada's primary forest sector research institutes, FPInnovations numbers over 600 employees, with research laboratories in Quebec City, Montreal and Vancouver, and technology transfer offices throughout the country.
