Welcome to the Atlantica BioEnergy Task Force.

This initiative has grown out of years of discussion around the future of the forestry sector in Atlantic Canada and Maine.

While the forest industry is struggling to determine its future, we firmly believe that new technologies can create enormous opportunity while helping to address other key challenges including energy creation and environmental stewardship.

The task force includes a combination of government policy makers, leading industry producers and associations and education researchers. By working together we can now explore all opportunities and help to lead the industry towards its future.

We are so fortunate to have been able to secure a world-class team of experts with PricewaterhouseCoopers who are integral in helping our task force focus on the opportunities that will be best suited for this region today and into the future.
